BB-8 is the cute, new droid of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. As Poe Dameron's partner, they fly together in Poe's X-Wing and fight in the Resistance. BB-8 may look like a small droid as it rolls around, but it has capabilities that can save the protagonists in dire circumstances. Being an astromech droid, BB-8 can fix X-Wing systems while under assault and even pilot an AT-ST scout walker to intervene in battle.
The orange and white color scheme of BB-8 makes it a one of a kind design of the BB model. BB-8 also has quite the personality with its jumpy actions and memorable thumbs-up. There’s no other droid alike BB-8, even if it has the same selenium drive and thermal hyperscan vindicator.
